As I am writing this I am into week 6 of online counselling, meeting my clients either by video call or by telephone.

My clients and I have got used to meeting this way and it is beginning to feel like a new normal way for therapy. I feel it is going well and more importantly I am getting good feedback! Celebrating 7 Years in Private Practice!

 

This month I am celebrating 7 years in private practice.

I started my career as a counsellor in 2006 within the safety of a large counselling and training charity. I am delighted that I continue to be part of that organisation where I provide counselling one day a week.

In 2011 I stepped outside the security of an organisation to start my private practice. Over the last seven years I have organised all aspects of my work, finding premises, getting insurance, learning about marketing and many others things.
