This is a great article that clearly and simply explains how counselling can help. Samantha Bye writes about her experiences of counselling and how it helped her better understand and then manage her anxiety and depression.

She writes to help break down the stigma surrounding mental health and says, “I think some people believe that counselling is just for those with extreme issues, but it really isn’t. No one’s mental health problem is more important than someone else’s, and having a neutral and well-qualified person to check in with makes a world of difference”.

In Praise of Talking Therapy

As a provider of talking therapy, or counselling as many of us call it, I felt excited when I came across this great article in praise of talking therapy.
